Amazing, Outstanding and Diverse

    The Word says if Christ is lifted up, He will draw all men unto Himself. Lift Him up before the community... Advertise Christ, and He will do the drawing.

    We don't need gimmicks to draw and entice them, the Spirit will do the work if we do His work.

    I've thought about this for a few hours now. As an ad for a church, if that's all they have, then that's sad. Is that what that church is all about?? We have a great worship team, a wonderful kids' program and are ethically diverse but that's not what we're about. We're about Jesus. We might advertise the kids' program to bring in kids but that's not an ad about the church but about the kids' program or whatever else. But an ad for the church will have much more than superfluous things like that. That sounds like a club rather than a church.

    With the exception of the adjective "excellent" (which could sound boastful, even if it is not meant that way), I would say that such words are of a completely different nature to those of the advert.
