At a meeting of the America First National Committee held Tuesday, October 12, 2004, the America First Party gave its endorsement to the Presidential candidacy of Michael A. Peroutka. The America First National Committee is the governing body of the America First Party at the national level. It consists of representatives from every Affiliated State Party.

National Chairman Dan Charles stated, "It is clear to our membership in 46 states that neither President Bush nor Senator Kerry will learn the lessons of 9/11 and secure our borders. Neither one will promote our unique American culture and protect the most innocent among us from dismemberment by either the abortionist or the embryonic stem cell researcher. Both support the unconstitutional invasion and occupation of Iraq. Both have misused our troops and have thus failed to support them. And both President Bush and Senator Kerry support trade policies that abandon our workers and their families and engage them in a great race to the bottom of the wage scale. "

Mr. Charles continued, "When carefully examined, there is little difference between the policies of President Bush and Senator Kerry. Their disagreement amounts to little more than a pillow fight over who will out bid the other in the auctioning off of America, her sovereignty and people, their freedom and rights--which flow from the Creator of all things. Of the candidates to choose from, only Mr. Peroutka has endorsed the policies that put America and all Americans First. A vote for Michael Peroutka will send a powerful message."
