    McCain would have had us on the same path. Thank God he lost the election, & has seen the error of his party's ways......

    Actually, I believe it started under Wilson's presidency.

    That is a pretty good way of putting it. The ball has been handed to every administration between these two Presidents, and every one of them has increased both the size and intrusivness of government in both our lives and the economy.

    The only difference between Democrats and Republicans is that one party taxes us into oblivion and increases government while the other sky rockets deficits and increases government. Neither has served the interests of the American people.
