The government will not interpret the Bible for me...and will not tell me what to preach...
    That is God's job.

As much as I love America, I will not serve man above God.
That should make my stand clear.

The Pastors in our county have arleady been addressed by the Public Health Department. They are working to establish on going relationsips with the Pastors. I have yet to see any evidence of anyone wanting to take privately owned firearms away from anyone, either here or in any article presented on this matter on this board.

I know of a couple of urban churches who have allowed themselves to be pawns in this game. ("Cash for guns" programs...a couple of cities have done "shoes for guns.")

Churches who serve as auxiliaries of the Democratic or Republican-controlled governments (you can find examples of both) need to adjust their priorities.

In August of 2004 My county was destroyed by Hurricane Charlie. It was a couple of months before we got our public services back up. We had the national Guard here enforcing a curfew. There were no gun confiscations here. And no documents representing any policies have been provided. And yet somehow gun confiscation is being tied into Pastors. Pretty irresponsible reporting and assumptions.

Amen. Ditto. Too bad that won't please the power-mongers around here that believe there's more power in the White House and the state house than in the church house, to use a Southern expression.

Sounds like Chuck Baldwin needs to change his address or refuse to open this stupid junk mail he writes about. I have never been approached by the government about guns, or martial law, or assisting in any way except in getting senior citizens to a free local health screening.

It is this kind of nonsense that cauterizes people so that when real dangers come they won't recognize them because there have been so many false warnings. The more I see of Baldwin, the more I think the man needs a mourner's bench and a class in basic Bible preaching.
