Davidson County, N.C., school officials probably didn’t intend to encourage Christian worship when they banned the use of the school’s public address system for pre-football game prayer last week.

    But that’s what they did.

Students, players, staff, and community members — hundreds of them –bowed their heads in unity and recited the Lord’s Prayer together before Friday night’s game at Ledford High School, according to MadWorldNews and WGHP-TV.

Pastor Mark Hollar of Abbot’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church and other area Christian leaders organized the demonstration after school officials invoked the Constitution to ban prayer over the PA system.
