    Those wonderful promises were all we had to go on ten years ago in Yokohama when the dollar=yen rate was only 78 yen/$. We were paying $1923 for a little apartment and one parking space (which was $641 by itself).

    God fed us more than once with great food showers from the U. S. military work near by. God is so good. [​IMG]

    I often tell pastors and folks in the USA that I feel sorry for folks who AREN'T missionaries. We get to see the hand of God move and provide for us almost daily.

    John of Japan, did you know Paul Shook, missionary to the deaf in Japan for many years?

    Amen, Mexdeaf. It is a great privilege being a missionary.

    I've met Brother Shook, I believe, but he was way down south, so I never saw him. I heard great things of his work.
