For what it is worth, I happen to think highly of Rippon. He does present some challenges and requires one to think about the subject at hand. Nothing wrong with that.

We have disagreed on some matters and he has accepted that. We can't ask any better than that.

Cheers to Rippon, and God bless, mate,

    Jim

He comes across as arrogant, and not very nice if you don't agree with his views. Not very Christ-like. You can have his attitude. It tends to turn me off no matter whether he's right or not.

WOW! In your thread "My Problems With MV's" you gave everyone a group hug and said in post 22 (Yesterday at 1:18 PM)"I APOLOGIZE to one and all..." Such a quick turnaround.

My statement has nothing to do with my apology. It was simply my feelings about your attitude. Perhaps you should stop being offended and maybe stop and examine yourself to see whether some of those things are true? I only wish you well, and perhaps I'm taking you in the wrong way, but your "online" persona leaves a lot to be desired. Just my opinion, you need not be offended, I guess. That's your choice.

You'll not "bait" me Rippon! And you'll NOT intimidate me either. You are free to "ignore" me if you wish, but I WILL challenge your ridiculous statements that people don't understand the KJV.

I'm left here scratching my head as to how I can be compared to Gail Riplinger! Have I insisted that if one follows the KJV they are Satanically-inspired?Really BFL,if you want to be taken seriously deal with reality. Most of your posts regarding me have been done in hasty anger. If you disagree with me --that's fine. But don't say things which are ridiculous -- you will get demerits -- no points for you.

Amen, Brother Rippon -- Preach it!

Likewise I still pray for Brother Rippon each day. First I thank God that Brother Rippon has seen "The day ... come when God grants" him "repentance." And then I thank God that Brother Rippon has WISELY picked a needed ministry: preaching the truth in the cyber-wilderness: There is one Living Word of God (Messiah Jesus) and many Written word of God (Holy Bibles). And then I thank God that Brother Rippon uses good study habits to further give proof(s) this truth. And lastly I pray something like this (which seems to get answered frequently): May God bless Brother Rippon, his family, and his ministries that we all might give the more Honor, Glory, and Magnification to our Blessed Lord and Savior: Messiah Jesus. Amen.

[snipped as post referred to was snipped]

But getting back to Gail R. -- I hope that her money dries up on her lecture circuit. That would mean that the Fundamentalist churches which have supported her wacky claims would become Bereans. After following through with Acts 17:11 and repenting of their former sins --they could reach out to Ms.Riplinger.With the Lord's enablement they could cause her to renounce her former way of life.Good things would follow from God's hand.Nothing is too hard for God.
