I can't imagine why they would want all those animals but if that is what "boggles" the minds of PETA then it doesn't take much.
You mean the organization that kills over 80% (and in some cases over 90%) of the animals that enter their shelters? Yeah - hypocrites.
Then PETA probably won't be too happy about the pig roast afterward.
I saw PETA at a pig roast and they loved it!
But then again - that is their name:
People Easting Tasty Animals.
I don't believe it! PETA and I agree on something? There should not be animals used in "Christmas Pageants".
I go even further and say there should not be pageants used in the Church!
noun: pageant; plural noun: pageants
a public entertainment consisting of a procession of people in elaborate, colorful costumes, or an outdoor performance of a historical scene.
The purpose of the church is not entertainment.:BangHead:
Last year's extravaganza at the church, Phoenix First Assembly of God:
YouTube "2013 Phoenix First Celebration of Christmas flying angels, elephant, camel, lion"
One of those organizations collects money playing Silent Night and showing pictures of pitiful animals.
True, but the purpose of such an event at a church service is to present the Gospel.
From the Free dictionary:
2. A spectacular procession or celebration.
Wouldn't you agree that the Birth of Christ is a celebration of a spectacular event?
Then don't do it.
