    There are some problems with this solution. First, immigration from England and Scotland peaked before 1850. Though, Irish immigration continued at a fairly brisk pace. Secondly, considering the way the demographics have changed in the UK post WW2 and de-colonization, she may think she's going to get a bunch of Horsecrofts and Wilkinsons. But, she's going to end up with a good number of Woo's and Singhs (though these likely to be third generation Brits). Third, does she think she's going to get a bunch of Conservative (Tory) Party members? More likely, it will be Labor and Liberal Democrats coming over.

    The country has went so far to the left that people like Rush appear to be extreme to the right.

    I would say someone like Michale Savage -would be to the right of Rush

    My fathers side all came over from the UK...you immediately got a hard working labor source that were also Baptist's, and Welsh Methodists.

    Now with mom's side, Italian's, you immedatly got hard working blue collar workforce who were also Catholic.

    My point is, that with time you can matriculate catholissm out...(probably by 3rd generation) but with any Latin commingled in you will have to deal with that damnable Roman Catholic church & all the baggage that comes along with it. And that has long reaching consequences.
