    Jim Donnan, former coach at Marshall U. and the University of Georgia, was indicted on a charge of helping run a Ponzi scheme in a company called GLC, of Proctorville, Ohio(across the Ohio River from eastern Huntington, WV, home of Marshall U.)

    Donnan and Tressel crossed paths in 1992 and 1993 as Marshall and Youngstown State played for the Division 1-A title. Marshall won in '92; Y-State in '93)

    However, I believe that both of them having probs is just coincidence, and Donnan is facing a much-more-serious prob than Tressel.

    Donnan was at one time employed by ESPN as a commentator. Wondered what became of him.

    Any link to him and Tress is tenuous I'd say, unless something has come up I don't know about.
