My previous thread was closed by C4K. I re-open it. Please DO NOT CLASH each other here. Please DO NOT ATTACK each other here! NO FLAMABLE ARGUMENTS here! If you disagree here, please answer politely! Moderators, if they argue again, please delete their “fire” comments here. Thanks!

    paidagogos quoted:

You are right. Do you deny that you are a liar? When you admit that you are a liar, the Bible is ALWAYS right.

He did not attack me or others, but his attitude toward me in his email is negative. Let me give you an example. Suppose, during cooking, I cooked on stove and noticed something that I am not certain if I cook correctly. I asked my dad to help me. He said to me, “Do not ask me how to cook!” I was upset because I know he is a good cooker. I am an awkward cooker. I need someone to HELP me! I called my mom. She looked at it and said, “Still cook!” She helped me to cook correctly. See the different between my dad’s answer and my mom’s answer.

    Su Wei quoted:

It is up to him if he can answer or not. When I was very nice to email him, he was rude to email me. When I read his email, I was disappointed and upset.

    Diggin in da Word quoted:

    True.

    Pastor Larry quoted:

I disagree with you upon different issues and agree with you upon other issues. The KJVO VS Anti-KJVO clashed each other. You have some evidences concerning the communication between you and David Cloud. None of my business dues to these disagreements! What did you, Pastor Larry, preach is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to win lost souls to our Lord Jesus Christ.
The KJVO and the Anti-KJVO argument!

    TheWinDork quoted:

    Please calm down yourself.
Not necessary! Pastor Larry and I are different because I am a KJB man.
I mostly agree with his website, but his email after I emailed him. Not always agree with everything what he said in his website. When I disagree with what he said, it is his opinion. No one is perfect!

    Why?

why do people reopen threads when moderators CLOSE them?

sounds like someone needs to be banned. and it's not me.

Wow, I thought the windork would have been [IMG]by now. Or at least [IMG].

So a person can cuss and swear and still get by with it?

Windork, if you are lucky enough to not get banned, the next time you feel like cussing on this public Christian board... do me a favor.

    [IMG] it.

I was going to suggest this board to my son, but now I have doubts... BB is a place we should be able to come to to get away from the world....

Oh well :godisgood: despite our failures.

    Askjo,

may I say, sir, that if David Cloud offended you, as he so clearly did, then it is up to you to go to him (and him alone) and discuss the offense. By bringing his private email here to discuss your offended senses you actually enter into just as much of a sin as he did in his original offense.

If you say he answered an email of yours peremptorily, or rudely, than it ought to stay between you and him. Everyone has a bad day, or comes across wrong in an email (which is easy to do.....look at how often we misunderstand each other here on the BB), or just downright sins in their response to a brother. We all have failed each other at one point or another in our responses when we disagree, or when we feel as if someone is challenging us.

See now, if David Cloud claimed to be Perfection Personified, than that email response would pose a real problem. BUT, all it does is prove he's human.

    Aren't we all?

Go and tell him of your offense, Askjo, and if you do not get the desired response.....forgive him anyway. That also is your Christian duty.

I agree with bapmom. If you have a problem with someone then take up that problem with them instead of whining and complaining about it to other people in public.
Pray for that person, ask for forgiveness, and move on.

This thread, as the previous one now closed (and deleted), appears to have been started because of a perceived injustice by Bro Cloud.

I contend that this is not the right place to air hurt feelings or personal grudges. Bro Cloud has been the topic of many discussions here. We all know that we have different takes on him. Fair play - if one is going to run a very public website such as his and send out volumnous emails he opens himself up to public comment and discussion.

This thread appears however to be a personal matter between Askjo and Bro Cloud and these matters are best handled by the two Christians involved. There is no local church to take the matter to so it should remain a personal matter between these two brothers.

I don't see where this thread is technically in violation of BB rules. I don't think Askjo started it as an inflammatory thread, but out of hurt feelings. Therefore I can't see a reason to close it.

Might I suggest that posters leave this matter between Bro Cloud and the offended party and that the rest of us move on our way?

When I read his email, I prefer not to email him again if I want to ask him questions because I was not comfortable concerning his email offending me. I do not want to bother him any more because of his attitude in email toward me. He is being human like you and me. Pray for him and others including you and me.

I will not bring his email here because I do not want anyone to look down at David Cloud. I do not want anyone to read it because of spreading anywhere AGAINST other Christians whom we love in the Lord. I prefer not to bring his emails here for public -- lead to make All Christians LOOK bad. Please respect me.

Exactly! David Cloud hurts my feeling when I read his email. To hurt anyone's feeling is not necessary. A Christian should not hurt other Christian's feeling, but they love each other in the Lord Jesus Christ.

but my friend, you HAVE brought his email to us here. You havent posted it for us, but you have brought it up as a topic and aired the essentials of it so that we don't need to read the email in order to know what was in it.
I believe I was respecting you. I do not want you to bring his email here....I have no curiosity about it whatsoever. I stand alongside C4K, and I'll go on my way after this posting. But see, Askjo, you are spreading things against another Christian just by talking about the email this much. I was just trying to help you see that.

    Blessings to ya!

    Now:

Uh - what did I just miss, here??

I'm neither asking the Moderators to close or not close this thread, for my dog is both tied up at home on a chain, and padlocked inside a chain-link kennel, at the moment.

However, I do have a couple of observations, bein' as I'se seems to be a bit corn-fused, here! This thread, as I type this, has had nine 'responses' to the OP who is Askjo, three of which came from the OP, himself.

There had not been a single 'response' for twenty days, through today, before Askjo posted his latest, (which including the OP, makes a total of 5 out of 11 posts) where he asked the Moderators to close a thread he himself had reopened. Even in the rather slow moving, in contrast to some others, Fundamental Baptist Forum, the thread was all but beyond "life -support", and only five lines and/or ten days, from disappearing totally from page one with standard BB 'settings'. But---

Now it has been shocked back into life. By the original poster, no less, asking that it be 'closed'. It would seem that only one person is keeping this going, in any way. With all due respect, Give it a rest! I'm fairly sure, based on past history, the 'rest' of us will be more than happy to do the same, and not ask the Moderators to have to "re-invent the wheel". In a month, no one else is likely to even mention it, and to respect one who is now banned, have to, to avoid any appearance of partiality, replace his or her name with XXXXX!
