    What surprises me is that such comments coming from someone who is as liberal as they get. Usually, conservatives are accused of being mean spirited and bigoted.

    Actually, it is the response I would have expected since you are a Democratic apologist, and by proxy, aid and abet the Republicans, ie, do not want this country run by the Constitution.

    Getting back to the op, even if you forget any Biblical reasons, we should support Israel because they are one of our true few allies.

    We fund both sides of that war, we have for a long time. Israel would be better served turning to Christ to protect her, rather than the American tax payer.
