You would be suprised to see how many are claiming universal atonement actually.

There was a former member here who said every single sin was paid for and that the only reason anyone went to hell was for their choice, not their sin.

That's what John 3:18 says. All sin is paid for by Christ's death.

I always enjoy Spurgeon's illustrations. Great quote.

Thankfully, there are many inconsistent Christians holding a incoherant theology. In other words, they understand that Christ actually accomplished redemption for His people, they just want to make God an equal opportunity employer who is hiring volunteers.

    Web,

Not going to rehash this with you. So I'll just fire back another Scripture. lol

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you." John 10:26

I know...world doesn't mean world, and John must have misspoke what he actually meant. Gotcha...

I've changed quite a bit...a lot thinner from running twice a day over the last few months.

Nope. John never misspoke at all. You have misunderstood. Like this verse in John 12:19....

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

Every single person on the face of the planet was following Jesus at that time. Gotcha...
