At Baptistboard and only at baptistboard do I encounter this issue regularly.
So regularly that I had to install Opera just to be able to stay logged on to Baptist Board.
Right after logging on to Baptist Board, whether at home or at work, in a few seconds the hour glass pops up along side the cursor, and up comes this pop up:

INTERNET EXPLORER HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE...yadayadayada...please report this issue...yadayadayada...

And then the page closes, and I have to log on all over again to the board, and the process repeats itself.

I have ran and reran my virus scan (but remember, this happens to me at work also).
I have also removed IE7 and rolled back to IE 6.
I have gone to support.microsoft.com and followed instructions by the "masters" there.
    No dice.
    No go.

Anyone had this problem before ?

    Geeks...help...

I use Firefox so I've never experienced that. I HAVE had trouble because of BB loading so slowly and me being too impatient that I overload the memory while the "new reply" is loading and then I have to restart Firefox. It's only BB that takes so long to load.

I have the latest firefox running on windows Vista and off and on I have similar problems. The firefox reporting system says it is a real player problem. I reported it to the board on the tech thread several days ago, don't know if it is something they need to do or if it is a firefox/real player issue.

Firefox will close right after switching threads and only on Baptist board. It has been okay the last few days.

You might try upgrading/downgrading your real player and see if it helps any.

I haven't had any of those problems. The BB gets very slow sometimes, but that's about it.

How does real player have an effect on the BB? Isn't the BB simply a web page, and dosen't real player only have to do with audio and video files? Or maybe I just don't understand how everything works.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE ALMIGHTY MICROSOFT! They reported through Vista that is was Real Player, do no question or your hard drive will be wiped clean! Do you get the message?

I have no idea what the relationship is. This vista system is so near a farce who would know if it knows what it is saying.

I allowed an update for their system last night and it couldn't install :BangHead:

Finally got it to install and now this morning my tv stick won't work  All is normal in Vista La La land!

Alright, folks. What is the secret to logging in to Baptist Board via firefox ?
I do not see the login box. I have register, new posts, etc., but no sign in box.
Where in tarnation did that go ?

And since this is going to the other side of Nineveh, instead of its original direction, will somebody be kind enough to tell me if there is an internet based program one can use to create sermons and messages which can then be downloaded and burned into a cd ?

Where is this website, and what are the equipment one needs ?

Sail on, boys and girls, sail on.
Nineveh is over there, but if you all wish to go this way or that way instead of there, don't worry about me.

I'll stay on for the ride.

Not sure what you want to do. More details would help.

To start there is a site that has tools that you use online including a word processor that you could do the sermon in, but not sure if you want to download it which you could or if you want others to be able to download it.
