Anybody NAS only

    I was researching churches when my husband and I first started our search.. One of the Baptist churches I stumbled upon believed in only the KJV or the NASB.. They completely rejected anything else.


    anyone else adhere to this?

    I have friends who strongly prefer the NASB, but they do not feel about it the way many KJVOs feel about the KJV. They believe the NASB to be more accurate and literal than other versions but do not rule out the usefulness of NIV, ESV, NJKV, etc.

    KJVO is very different than any of the "prefered" category (KJV, NASB, NIV, ESV prefered).

    I don't even know a church that would suggest all its members get an NASB, althought there may be some who would do it for consistency sake.

    But none that would then call all other versions "perversions" or "of the antichrist" which 50% of the onlies on the BB do.

    While the NASB was the version whose words led me to Jesus, I have never been 'NASB Only' or any one versionist only. Just as there are many types of preachers presenting the same Gospel, there are many different BVs presenting the same word of God.
