    Ken4JC,

Jesus says in John 3:13 "And no man hat ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." Here is Jesus speaking to Nicodemus in the flesh yet he says the Son of man is(present tense) in heaven. Where is he not?

Getting back to the whole reason that this topic was started in the first place, Seeking after Him, I can recommend calvary chapels as far as they are sound on the most part....I agree with most of their teaching and although I don't believe that the tongues etc are for today, I accept them as solid churches. Chuck Smith is a decent bible teacher and a nice guy and although they are charismatic, they are not hyper charismaniacs. Heres a link for a Calvary Chapel in michigan. http://calvarychapel.com/grandrapids/

If you don't find that you like this one, then there are plenty of others on the website, http://www.calvarychapel.com Just look under *Churches* ....then do a search for the city links.

    Hope this helps

P.S I did leave the calvary chapel movement out of my conviction that they are in error regarding the gifts and in general for their charismatic theology, so I don't make a habit of recomending charismatic churches, but this is one of the soundest charismatic church groups that I know of if you are into that sort of church.
