Are any of you pastors going to the Together for the Gospel conference?

    Looks interesting - I didnt' know about it, but it isn't *that* far. I just need a ride. If your pastors are driving from New York, maybe? :) (Depends on where in New York, I'm in Canton, Ohio, so upstate would be easy, NYC would be something else).

    I'm going to think and pray about it, definitely. Sounds like some great speakers. John Piper wrote some of the stuff I read for one of my courses at TBS. I really liked him.

    Has anyone else gone to one before? What is it like?

    Edit: Just noticed they have MP3s of the previous year's conference, which is really grand; so, even if finances or something else keeps me from it, I should be able to download the speakers. However, there's nothing like being there to fellowship and everything.

    Sorry - They'd be coming from Long Island through NYC. But it definitely sounds like a great conference - I wish I could go!

    Thanks. I downloaded (for free) and listened to a couple of the messages from the 2006 conference last night - on watching your life and on keeping the cross central in preaching. It really was a blessing.

    Looks like a great line up, but i'm going to have to skip this one due to distance. Although i didn't realize that Louisville had an "International" convention center. :laugh:
