Are Christian believers in America being persecuted?

Some hiring decisions are based on bosses' personal biases -- no doubt about it. An applicant may be eyed with suspicion for all sorts of reasons. It isn't fair, but those who do the hiring are sometimes less than objective. It's human nature. Soo... across America today: 'Cindy' isn't hired because she's dressed "too" well. 'Jim' is unsuitable because he doesn't golf. 'Lois' is overqualified. 'Karen' is wearing fur! 'Tammy' is "too tall". 'Ned' rides a Harley and so therefore can't be trusted. ..... and yes ... someone somewhere isn't hired because they're Islamic, or atheist, or, occasionally, even Christian.

    This is not 'persecution'.

2Timothy 3:12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Kinda concerned that we aren't suffering more persecution in America. The above verse says it all.

If we are criticized, that is not persecution. I wonder if that mean we can no longer say atheists are wrong, because that would be "persecution".

Other people have the right to expresss their opinions, without being labeled persecutors.

Now, if someone in a position of public trust uses that position to attack Christians or to promote atheism, that would be another story.

It happens to be illegal to discriminate against people in employment on the basis of religion. The ACLU has stepped in on a number of occasions to argue for Christians in that regard.

In general, religious persecutions in this country have been against non-Christians, as you might expect in a country that is predominantly Christian.

< More proof. I hear the ACLU is running an extermination camp right outside San Francisco. >

Oh, that's what they wanted to close down Alcatraz for.

Does this have anything to do with those black helicopters and the gun turrets in the freeway sound barriers?
