Let me see if I get this correct. When the nation is not complaining about Obama, or praising him for his ability to do something with good results [like taking out Bin Laden, or bringing the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan], we are supportive, non-racist citizens. But, if we are speaking out on his weaknesses or inability to lead on a specific issue [like Obamacare or Benghazi] we are disrespectful racists [because he is the first black POTUS]?

It seems that all Americans, of non-color, can do is shut up and not voice their views or opinions when the first black president messes up, because to complain about him is a racist attempt to demean and disrespect the man!

It seems to be a no win thing for those who are not black. :BangHead:

It seems to me that for more than 6 years, the majority of the press [including the time he was campaigning to run for his first term], CUT HIM TONS of SLACK! But now, that the light has exposed his true weaknesses as a leader regarding many issues,, the media, and non-black America are disrespecting the president, because he is black??? When will it end? I guess that those who complained and criticized Bush were anti-Texans? Or worse yet, extreme Yankees, haters of the south?

The racism argument is a red herring. It doesn't answer the arguments against Obama's work as President, it's just an attempt to dismiss them by bringing an unrelated factor into the argument.

All US Presidents get a ton of criticism. To my knowledge, just about every single President had strong critics.

It is dishonest and an attempt to stop criticism. It is done on this board and it is done by the dems everywhere. They have nothing else so it is a default position for them when they can't defend themselves.

It's just another way of stopping legitimate debate. Same as calling people "conspiracy theorists" for questioning Bush and the neocon's agenda.

Oprah Winfrey: Obama is victim of racism; racists ‘just have to die’

Oprah Winfrey made several racially-charged statements during a BBC interview Friday while promoting her recent film, “The Butler.”

The BBC’s Will Gompertz asked Winfrey if racism is still a contemporary issue.

Leave it to El Rushbo to ask the obvious question.

“Then how the hell did you become who you are?” Limbaugh asked. “Why hasn’t anybody in your audience, Oprah, ever said, ‘You lie!’? Because you have. It wasn’t a senator, Oprah. It was a congressman by the name of Joe Wilson, and he was right. Obama was lying. My God, Oprah.”

Obama himself is a racist. On the few occasions when there has been an incident with possible racial overtones Obama has opened his motor mouth. It was his Attorney General who stopped the prosecution of the two Black Panthers who were shown intimidating voters in Pa. in the 2008 election.

He also cares nothing for the mass of African-American people in the country since their rate of unemployment has increased under Obama! Of course the average income of all people in the country has decreased 8-10%. And then through an incessant series of lies he has managed to drive up the cost of health insurance for the vast majority of people. He is the ultimate narcissist who is enraptured by the sound of his own voice!
