It's all part of the game. They really can't use those weapons. It would immediately prove them to be everything the US has been saying they are and turn world sentiment against them. France just brought the accordion to the hunting trip.

Isn't that kinda like seeing a serial killer purchase an armory and not do anything about it until he hurts someone again?

Loren ; I really don't think Iraq cares what the world's sentiments are...to Saddam...he IS the world. If he has these weapons, and I believe he does, he will not hesitate to use them.

Gina ; It does seem kind of like that, but I am just glad that France, and many other countries, are now on the bandwagon. It's always better to have allies than enemies. [IMG]

As far as I'm concerned, France can go eat freedom fries. We don't need 'em. They had their chance to get on board, and they missed it. My vote is we don't let 'em have a thing to do w/ Iraq or anything else we do for a long long time, or at least until they win a war. [IMG]

Landon if we waited for France to win a war we would be in for a long, long wait!

Anyway, it would far simpler for the present nations fighting the war with the lives of their young men and women to handle the temporary government until Iraqis could govern themselves and then for us all to get out.
