Are There Actual 'Fundamentals" In Theology for Fundamentalists?

    The greatest enemies of Christianity have always been those who called themselves Christians.

    So we don't just give a pass to a guy because he says- I am a Christian and you ought to respect me (by respect the idea is- don't destroy my ideals, my theology, my philosophy, etc...)

    If we did that there would have BEEN no Council of Nicea!

    If we did that there would have BEEN no Apostles Creed!

    If we did that there would have BEEN no Council of Chacedon!

    If we did that there would have BEEN no Protestant Reformation!

    So we ignore personality and claims and we cut right to the quick- we scrutinize arguments, ideals- and when they stink of heresy we unsheathe the Sword of the Spirit and we seek to DEMOLISH those arguments.

    And here is the thing I am saying to ALL CHRISTIANS- YOU DON'T GET TO OPT OUT OF THIS!

    You are commissioned by Christ Himself, by the Apostles of Christ, by the Spirit of God within you to do this with all vehemence.

    It is sin for you to neglect this duty of demolishing arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.
