I hear Trump try to convince his followings that he is a Presbyterian, and he carries his childhood bible with him when he is speaking to an audience that may be looking for him to be, well, more religious! Then there is Cruz. Man he can debate as well as he can quote and apply scripture to the thoughts he promotes along the campaign trail!; especially in Hawk-eye country!? Now the two of them are trying to solicit support from "evangelicals," and they are doing quite well if I say so myself! Still, I have to ask: Are both these men playing up to the audience to gain votes, or are their professions of faith honest and genuine? Sure only God knows for sure what their hearts are when it comes to their faith in him, but as an observer of the two, I still have to ask, are they playing the game, or are their overtures for votes genuine and from the heart?
