No annoyance. Are you sure this is about poetic license?

    Have a blessed day.

    ===========================================================

My Greek instructor taught that the best way to learn Greek is to learn English. I have found it worthwhile to study every word very analytically. See it, say it, use it in a simple sentence. Find it's origin and every use since it was coined. It makes for better communication--provided the reader/listener is familiar with the same jargon and set of definitions. Local idiom can be real confusing to anyone but the locals. English has a lot of homonyms. Nothing like a good brainstorming session.

An interesting point about the Koine Gk., the language of the NT: the Roman Legions spoke the Common or Koine Gk. Not sure how many could read it. However, the spoken Word is all the Holy Spirit needs to convict of sin, righteousness and judgement to come. "Faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God."

Sorry this is a bit off course.

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Good point, as I was taught that needed to redo English grammar before getting into the Greek!

Yes, all manner of aberrant groups have initially claimed to be just 'Reformed Baptists'.

Well, Jesus did state to us in Matthrew 16:18 that his church would withstand gates of Hell, anddon't think that he meant just the 12 there!
Also think that the 3000 saved in Acts were all part of te Church body, and not all in loal churches then!

Where on earth do they meet?
    Who are the deacons?
When do they practice church discipline?
How often do they take the Lords supper?

Can you show how any such thing exists?.....

    Let me try this....

Is the kingdom of God different or the same as the church of God?

If it is indeed different explain the difference.

    also...answer these 5 questions....with 5 answers

The Kingdom of God/Heaven is the total sphere of the rule of God, while the Church is part of it, but nor all of that! Th Kingdom is rigt now in his workd thu His curch, but when Jesus returns, will extend to all of the Earth!
