Don't forget, grasshoppers, crickets, locusts, beetles, and "bald locusts" are clean for food, as well.

Personally, I'm glad for grace, 'cause I love pork chops and/or sausage with 'milk' gravy (Yum!! w/ mashed potatoes with the pork chops), bacon and tomato sandwiches, and ham and eggs! They tastes so go-o-o-o-d!

Especially when you got a good veggie dish or two, with most of 'em.

BTW, do 'hushpuppies' and coleslaw count as two veggie dishes with fried catfish?? Even fish is good every once in a while.

I'll still let someone else eat all the goat, elk, grasshoppers, crickets, and locusts. :p :)

Is it possible to be a Baptist and a Veg head? I have never seen a church pot luck that didn't serve fried chicken, or ham.

A Veg head? ....

If you visit the Seventh Day Adventist Church(s), potlucks are every week after services. Talk about some tasty energy food!! Blows away any other potluck I have been to.

Did you know a pig can be trained to come when it's name is called? In fact, they are much smarter than dogs. Other animals listed as unclean are the monkey and dolphin. Maybe it's the high IQ

    Cute little faces too....

Whys that? You don't think anyone in the medical field eats pork? That they are all at pinnacle of health and fitness?

But you didn't say pork, you said pork fat in your first post. It was just an observation.

And I have observed some pretty unhealthy medical professionals too ;)

I love meat. I had pork chops for dinner last night.

AND another observation is with a name like Bitsy, I need to stay in fairly decent shape, or I'll be my own personal oxymoron

What irony, we recently had a brochure from the STPTRTBHHBVFFHAO. We used it to light the coals... Thanks, the BBQ wouldn't have been the same without your contribution!

    I dunno' about that necessarily, but it takes "pork fat" grease, to make really good milk (white) gravy. {Slurp!!} {Yum!}

    Edited to add:

There needs to be a 'mouth-watering', "slurping' or smiley face.

I could not find a really good one anywhere on the 'Net, and I looked long for one.

    (Closest I found!) [IMG]

Maybe some of you can help. Or maybe someone who does this sort of stuff can design one!

    Edited again to add:

Actually, I did just find one that is pretty good, although 'he' should be sitting, rather than standing, IMO. [IMG]

.....I am glad, you will have noticed that the paper was very greasy from animal byproducts so it possibly went WHOOMP when lit

    Does a 3 day vegan count? :)

Last week I started getting interested in veganism, not the hardcore version were people don't wear animal leather, but refraining from eating animal products. It is hard! I didn't realize how much of our food comes from animal products! Cereals, milk, cheese, all dairy obviously, and many many other things.

ROFL!!!! Now this was the funniest post I've ever read. The wife asked me why I was laughing so hard...

In my mind, this post said "I started to be a vegan until I read the menu"...
