    Hey, Gwen! I live in Georgia, too. Cobb County.

    For the pollster: I had to vote No. I'm originally from NY (Long Island). I have been to Michigan several times on business, though -- mostly to Ann Arbor, Detroit (Grosse Point), and once to Flint.

    WV is not the south, my geographically and historically challenged friend!:laugh: J/joking!

    My brother and family of 5 live in Michigan. I used to live 50 miles from the U (upper) of the UP, along Lake Superior. Most beautiful part of these US's. If you don't think so, you haven't been there.

    Go Wolverines! and take the Pistons with you!

    Actually, I spent the best part of my life growing up in south central Kentucky, and that's what I claim as "home" to my southern roots. I've lived in WV about 16 years now, but Kentucky will always seem like home to me.

    I have been up there. Its gorgeous, though many other parts of the state are too. I love the Alpena area as well as Traverse City and Boyne as well (I want to golf there someday). There are some great places in central MI as well.

    I had better stop or I will start missing everything again!
