Are you Saved?

Nobody wants to leave faith and belief out of the Bible. Calvinists affrim salvation through faith alone, which is not of ourselves, but a gift of God.

The Bible has already answered your questions as shown above. You just don't like the answer. As to your last statement in your last paragraph, I respond in the following manner:

Actually, it is your concept of a sovereign man and a weak god, and a fallen humanity which has enough goodness within them to seek God which totally denies the omnipotence of God and what scripture teaches about fallen mankind in Romans 3, and reduces God to someone who is just a little higher than we are, but who needs permission from his creation to save them and who is unable to keep any of his promises. If there is one molecule in the universe outside of God’s sovereignty that can thwart his will, then God is not sovereign and therefore is not God and cannot keep any promise he makes because someone might thwart his plan. Where is your hope then? In a sovereign God who is almighty and is over all and always gets his way, or in a “gentleman” who has no foundation for any of his promises? What if someone in his creation could thwart his will in his promises? Your concept of God is blasphemy and an insult to God and his Word.
