Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

    Contemporary English Version (CEV) reads:

and from Jesus Christ who faithfully reveals all truth to us. He was the first to rise from death, to die no more. He is far greater than any king in all the earth. All praise to him who always loves us and who set us free from our sins by pouring out his lifeblood for us.

What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can wash away my sins?
    Nothing . . . According to the new Per-Versions

Oh Happy day when Jesus washed my sins away! – Not according to the NIV, NASV, NCV, CEV, at al!

[ATTACK ON THE BIBLE SNIPPED BY ADMINISTRATOR]

Why don’t we "update" our "archaic", "hard to understand" song books?

Have you been to Jesus for the loosing power?
Are you freed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you loosed in the blood of the Lamb?
What can loose away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Are you saved by works or grace?

Rev. 22:14,"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."KJV

    or

Rev. 22:14,"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city." NASB

You see it can be fun to apply KJVOism to the KJV. [IMG]

    Comment:Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV Grace.

Rev. 22:14,"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."KJV

    Comment: Faith is a commandment.

    or

Rev. 22:14,"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city." NASB

Comment:It says their robes are washed not them how silly it is to think a robe has a soul in need of salvation.

You see it can be fun to apply KJVOism to the KJV.

Comment: The joke is on you David J.LOL
Peace in Jesus Bro Miller a staunch KJV Baptist for Jesus.

The lead-in post is found on the internet 6 time
in the "Per-Versions" form and 6 times in the "perversions" form.
The lead-in post is a copy of posts found on the inernet
with no attempt to give accreditation
(though i must admit it is hard to figure out who
wrote it first). OTOH, this many times on the net it
must be construed as spam :( Two reasons already to
    remove the initial post/spam.

"Blood" is found 92 times in the New King James (nKJV) NEw Testament.
"Blood" is found 93 times in the King James Version (KJV).

Does anybody every redo Gail Riplinger's "original research
or even bother to check it?

You're in violation of this forum's rules by calling a Bible a "per-version". Expect to hear from a moderator shortly.

And I suggest, if you want to have any credibility here, that you cease pasting those silly old articles full long-refuted bunk. Just about everyone here's seen'em all already, and they're stale jokes to us now.

Like most KJVOs, I see you totally ignore the point of the post which you copied. Typical.

1.) A completely-unprovable statement, two times. First, the other Bibles are NOT what you call them, and you cannot even BEGIN to PROVE any of them are "tools of the devil". Next, if THAT were true, then what is the KJV, which was the ONLY BV used by David Koresh & Jungle Jim Jones?

    2) At your current rate, you're heading for a quick exit. Straighten up your act so you can hang around. You have a LOT to learn, it appears.

I SAY KJVO IS A FALSE, MAN-MADE DOCTRINE! I say the modern KJVO myth began in 1930 with the publication of Our Authorized Bible Vindicated by 7TH DAY ADVENTIST OFFICIAL Benjamin Wilkinson. I say KJVO is as wrong now as it was then. I say KJVO has NO SCRIPTURAL SUPPORT.

I've thrown the gauntlet down to you. Try to prove me wrong, while abiding by the same rules I abide by here.

    2 Peter 2:10 (KJV1769):

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh
in the lust of uncleanness, and despise
    government
    . Presumptuous are they,
selfwilled, they are not afraid to
    speak evil of dignities
    .

Sadly, another hit-and-run by someone who is openly defiant of the rules and those trying to moderate it.

I wonder how "spiritual" one can be living in open sin and rebellion against rules that HE SIGNED prior to posting? Hmmmm.

Thread locked, after I clean up the filth.
