Army shuns system to combat RPGs

    Lest I forget - the other problem is that most RPG's have a kill radius . . . even if they kill the target - they would almost always kill the RPG round and still be within the kill radius of the warhead . . .

    Give me some data . . .

    Total time to acquire the target and supress the incoming round is less than or equal to 1/4 second (on average) there might be times where the defensive system might have 1 second . . .

    That is extremely fast . . .

    I share your viewpoints on this. The Fox demo was way too perfect and time is so important.

    But, if there is a success percentage that would save GI's lives, I think we should go for it while upgrading it, and competing systems are developed.

    The RPG is frequently fired at close range.
