    I don't think that I've ever heard of many of those on that list. There are many others that I do fellowship with that were not listed.

    Interesting - the ones getting the LEAST support for fellowship is the Pat Robertson cruisematic types and the 1-2-3-pray-after-me easy-believism types (graham, hyles).

    And very odd to see Northwestern (a new evangelical CBA-oriented school) getting less vote than Bethel or Baptist General Conference which is far more new evangelical by definition.

    Hmmmmm.

    The results so far. Dr. Bob, this is very interesting. I would be interested in finding out why NBBC, MBBC, PBBC, CBTS, and DBTS aren't getting more support. Also, I'm very surprised to see that Jerry Falwell is getting alot of support. I didn't think that "independent Baptist" types supported Falwell anymore. It shows that the "independent Baptists" that run in the NBBC/MBBC crowd is not the majority "independent Baptist" crowd, at least on this board in this informal poll. Very interesting. Gives me hope for "independent Baptists!" I'm very surprised by the CBA/BGC support. Again, I know that the NBBC type will have nothing to do with either of these groups. I'm also surprised by the strong support for SBTS.

    This is really food for thought. "Independent Baptists" as a whole may be more moderate than I thought.

    Not a problem. I wasn't really serious. I base my fellowship not on what group one belongs to but what one believes as revealed through Scripture.
    Some of my friends are in one or more of your lists.
