Melodramatic GOP feud another episode of a tedious soap opera.

When you last tuned in, Megyn Kelly glared at Donald Trump and accused him of demeaning women.

Now emotional relationships are breaking up, friends are choosing sides and a nation focuses on the melodrama of hurt feelings. Yet another episode of a tedious soap opera — AS THE WORLD BURNS.

I don't like political correctness either - but there's also the polar opposite of being PC - being purposefully indecent - and that's the world where Trump lives. I don't like that either.

This isn't about hurt feelings. This is about what we want in a president as far as his speech is concerned about the majority of our population.

He has called women ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs’' and ‘disgusting animals.'” - and NOT just about Rosie or Hillary.

He tweeted about Hillary a few months ago (and yes, he was repeating another tweet, but he publicly said it anyways) - "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?"

Now I know that there is a BB member who said that it doesn't matter to him what Trump says about Rosie and Hillary but he shouldn't talk about Megyn that way.

I don't want him to talk about anyone - man or woman - like that. That's crossing the line of decency.

On Friday, via telephone with CNN's Don Lemon, Trump lit into Megyn.

He called her a lighweight. That's fine - it's his opinion and said it. He said he didn't respect her as a journalist. That's fine. Let him say it. He continued to criticize her as a moderator and journalist. No harm, no foul.

But THEN he said this about her questioning him .....

His insinuation was that she was on her menstrual cycle and this is why she was hitting him so hard about his issues with women. He tried to spin what he said Saturday, but he is not convincing.

This comment crossed the line into indecency.

I have no use for the man. I know that many here support him. I cannot.

I don't know of anyone here on this board who supports Trump.

It is a sad state of affairs when the GOP is so politically correct that it takes a casino-owner to say that the border has to be closed once and for all.

Certainly, Rubio has not been in favor of closing the border in spite of the special status given to Cubans before Clinton altered it. Personally, I would allow refugees from Cuba's communist dungeons to be rescued at sea and allowed into the USA. Obama's hatred of Cubans is so great that part of the deal with Castro will eventually include shutting off all refuges from Cuba; afterall from a Democrat Party viewpoint, Cubans tend to vote GOP because of their hatred for Kennedy, who betrayed them, but in defense of JFK, he might have been busy with Marilyn Monroe that night.

My opinion only. Trump and Kelly both benefit. Trump makes the Republicans look like a Party of Piggish Oafs, which benefits the DNC ("War on Women"); and Kelly gets more exposure... and presumably higher ratings.

And the GOP sides with the rich and refuses to close the border.
