    More fearmongering by Obama.

Spend more money faster, before the public wakes up to the mess he's leading us into.

    Not according to some.

He just hasn't had time to countermand Bush's orders.

Actually he said he would bomb Pakistan during the campaign. So why is it a surprise?

None of this is consistent with the World Health Organization ranking of the US as number 37 in the world for health care. This was barely above Cuba and below Costa Rica.

The WHO is not a credible organization. As it has a liberal agenda

Out of curiosity, are you seriously expecting us to believe you would prefer to trust your own health-care to Costa Rica over that of say, such as Emory University School of Medicine, Morehouse Medical School, Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital, St. Joseph's, Wellestone, Cobb, Northside, North Fulton, DeKalb, and the Atlanta Medical Center, to name just a few, in your own backyard??

Or that you would really almost trust the Medical system of Cuba (and save a few bucks) as much as these institutions? Do you not even wonder why Fidel Castro went elsewhere for his own treatment recently, rather than trusting his own system? Doesn't that even raise a small "red flag" here???

Then go to Cuba and Costa Rica and get health care and leave the US stuff to us.

I doubt you actually believe the WHO though.

What is its "liberal agenda?" Saving the lives of children?

I wouldn't. You're right. But I don't know about the 50 million Americans who don't have health insurance. Have you ever tried to have a major operation without insurance?

Yea that is why they slaughter them in the womb. The liberal agenda is socialism right along with the UN and every other world organization.

Who do you think can accurately rank the countries of the world in terms of their health care delivery to all citizens? Rush?

Why does anyone need to unless they have an agenda?

America exists in a broader world. Contrary to what you think people and countries outside America have good ideas that might work better here than our current approach. You're big on being against abortion but are you saying you don't care if our infant mortality rate is high or our life expectancy is low?

Never said anything of the sort. Your accusation is false and a liberal debate tactic.

    Facts please... not just speculation.

Edited because I took a second to look it up myself.

The United States is in the top 20% for both longest life expectancy and lowest infant mortality rate among 222 countries according to Wikpedia.

Another case of emotion over intellect?

I wouldn't think Rush could, but I don't pay much attention to him. It generally takes more than a loudmouth to rank anybody about anything. (Which should be a lesson to a lot of people here that merely talking a lot doesn't mean you know what you are talking about.)

I merely said that if you should go to Costa Rica for healthcare if you think they are better.

I don't think you do, and I think if you were given the choice between having a major surgery here and Costa Rica, you would probably choose here. As would most of the people in Costa Rica, I imagine.

Since it was brought up that the WHO ranked the US as 37th in the world for healthcare -- anyone know what criteria the WHO used to come to that conclusion?

Answer the question rather than insulting me as usual. Do you care if our infant mortality rate is high and out life expectancy is low? Yes or no?
