    It sounds like there is more to the story than indicated. The reason you have a "board" of trustees is so that various opinions can be considered. The other trustees can easily out vote McKissic on the issues of contention. What are they afraid of?

    Could it be that Van McClean wants to keep the actions of the board from becoming public information to the SBC from whom they get funds. IMO, such boards should be transparent to the rest of the SBC.

    oh, and losing control...control is everything in the resurrgence...

    It should be a vote of the convention...not a clandestine meeting of politically placed elites. Let the people speak to what they believe about this whole business, then let's see where we are with everything.

    This is going to be a bloodbath...we need one.
