I was recently admitted into the Ph.D. program of Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. I am well aware of the fact that BBS is fully accredited by the Pennsylvania Board of Education and the Middle States Accredidation of Colleges and Schools (MSACS), and that they have some very fine scholars, several of whom are often cited by the ETS (Evangelical Theological Society) for their scholastic achievements. What I am curious about though is what those who have attended BBC or BBS have to say about the school? What types of experiences did you have while on campus? Is there anything in particular about the school that you think I ought to know? Even if you haven't attended the school but have some knowledge of it, please feel free to add any comments that you think would help this preacher boy to learn a little more about the school.

If you didn't know, it has a historic affiliation with the GARBC. It was once located in Johnson City, NY. A few of my professors at Faith Baptist Bible College in Iowa were BBC/BBS grads, as well as many older and retired GARBC pastor friends.

I don't know much about where it is today personally, but have known a couple people who went there for graduate work from Faith. I also recently found a link to a blog of a man who apparently just began teaching there:

    Hope its helpful!

There is a lot available at their website:

    http://www.garbc.org/

The "About Us" section should prove enlightening. John Greening, National Representative, is a Clark Summit graduate, I believe. Judging from your backround (via your profile) as an SBC pastor, You should find BBC/BBS to be quite conservative, I would think.
