I know. I have had my run-ins with Biblicist in the past. It had tapered off lately, until today.

I'll stand back-to-back with you. At least that way, we can see the knives coming at us. :)

What has happened to Heavenly Pilgrim? He and I disagree strongly about sanctification, but we could discuss things like Christian brothers.

I have never hid, nor apologized for condemning both you and Moriah for embracing and teaching a false gospel and never will as that is the truth FROM MY PERSPECTIVE and that is the only perspective I can provide.

The Scriptures have terms for those who pervert the gospel and other orthodox essentials of the faith and to apply those terms to those who wear those shoes is scriptural regardless if the person wearing those shoes believes they are guilty or not. Obivously a heretic does not veiw himself as a heretic.

I think we have discussed these things for a long period of time and it only proves to be more futile as we progress in the debates.

You are guilty of everything you falsely accuse me of doing and being.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Please, all of you, drop these accusations of "whilst accusing one another, their conscience all the while bearing witness of the truth," and start posting back to the OP. In case you have forgotten the title of this thread is:

You see, I defend myself to Biblicist saying I pervert the truth, etc., and DHK comes on quoting and reprimanding me while Biblicist is left undaunted.

    DHK's reprimand was to all.

DHK quoted me defending myself from being called pervert, then gave a reprimand. That is not right in any stretch of the imagination.

Let DHK quote Biblicist and give his so-called well-meaning Bible quote.

I am not fooled in the slightest.

I have stated my case, now I am done with this and moving on.

Nobody called you a "pervert"! It is one thing to charge a person with "perverting" the word of God and another thing to call a person a "pervert." The former refers to an action that may be totally unrelated to his personal character while the latter refers to his personal character.

There are Baptist distinctives and one is justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone without works in regard to the past tense completed action of "saved."

However, the present tense incompleted action of "save" or "being saved" and the yet future tense completed action "shall be saved" refer to complete different aspects of salvation.

He quoted me defending myself! What do you not get? Now stop it and move on.

P.S. DHK will come on and tell me not to tell others when to stop it. Then he will give me an infraction for being rude. This is routine with him.

Just stop it. You call me a pervert. You want us to believe the word with an 'ing' changes anything! You want us to believe perverting the truth is no big deal! You are a foul mouthed man who uses that word way too much.

    per·vert (pr-vûrt)
    tr.v. per·vert·ed, per·vert·ing, per·verts
    1. To cause to turn away from what is right, proper, or good; corrupt.
    2. To bring to a bad or worse condition; debase.
    3. To put to a wrong or improper use; misuse. See Synonyms at corrupt.
    4. To interpret incorrectly; misconstrue or distort: an analysis that perverts the meaning of the poem.

If you would like a reprimand with an added infraction carry on without regard to the OP, and I will give you one. The directive posted was to all, not just to you. Take the advice given and post to the OP, not this attitude of complaining and accusatory language.

I think you are right. The Plymouth Brethren may also adhere to those same principles.
