    What mission? I know about 25 different Baptist Faith Missions, as contrasted to the Convention Missions, but need a name here!

    Baptist Mid-Missions?
    Evangelical Baptist Missions?
    Assoc. of Baptists for World Evangelism?
    Baptist World Mission?
    Baptist Int'l Missions Inc

    I googled and found www.baptistfaithmissions.org
    I hope this helps. But as Dr. Bob notes, there are other Baptist organizations (local church related and stand alone) whose operations are characterized as a "faith mission".

    I looked over the website and was IMPRESSED. Don't know a single missionary or anyone firsthand, but solid Baptist, solid doctrine, solid local church.

    Are you familiar with this group or just a missionary from them?

    Since it is obvious you have lost your mind reading super-powers, I should explain. ;)
    We as a SBC church are looking into other missions giving options and I found this web site, asked for the introductory information reviewed and was just wandering if anyone had any "inside information" that is not in the video tapes.

    Rather than looking at a "board", look at an individual missionary who is doing the work and has the same beliefs/position held by your church.

    THEN evaluate the board or organization to be certain if fits your church's criteria.

    We support about 20 missionaries annually from about 12 different organizations. Some are simply sent out by their local church. We will not support someone doing ministry on the FIELD something that we would not endorse at HOME.

    (So KJVO's need not apply!!)
