I don't know of any "measuring scale" for degrees of amillenialism, to enable me to answer that.

Seriously, though, in view of what you have written, you may well find the book "Revelation Spiritually Understood," by Charles D. Alexander, helpful, or at least interesting. It is available free online at: http://www.allbygrace.com/alexrevelationmainpage.html
The author was a baptist. (No, he didn't stop being a baptist - I said "was" because he died in 1991).

Well speaking for the Post-Trib pre-Mill group

1. Tribulation
2. 7 Last Plagues
3. Then "After the tribulation of those days ... He gathers His elect" Matt 24.
4. That is where we see the "First resurrection" Rev 20:5 where the "Dead in Christ rise First" 1thess 4. The saints taken by Jesus to Heaven

5. All the wicked are destroyed as Rev 19 states it.
6. The literal 1000 years takes place - as Rev 20 states it. 1000 years is the time between the first and 2nd resurrection.
7. Then the Holy city comes down out of heaven, the "second resurrection" takes place -- that of the wicked -- and then the wicked are judged and cast alive into the Lake of Fire.

End of story -- game over.

in Christ,

Bob
