It should be noted that any SBC church is completely free to support the BWA. The convention decision was just about our unified support.

The church where I serve still supports the BWA independently...though it isn't much compared to the support of the SBC as a whole. :)

    And they were wrong, too.

Michael I believe you should alter your profile to reflect more accurately who you are and what you believe. You are not a Baptist and should not be posting any longer in the Baptist forums. Your beliefs more accurately reflect that of an Anglican.

Is that so? I affirm the four Baptist freedoms, and I don't believe in infant baptism. I am a member of a Baptist church. I thought all this qualified me as Baptist. According to what I have read in other places here, it does. But of course I would expect the standards here to be applied differently to me than to anyone else. Should I withdraw my membership from my local Baptist church so my removal from the Baptist section can be justified?

    Let me know.

I don't see him as Anglican, this might be an overreaction. In our interactions here he has taken a Baptist stance, though a more moderate Baptist stance than others.

Maybe you should remove yourself as the Arch Bishop [edit]. That would better qualify you to be a Baptist.

You are a liar and slanderer. You are the cultist. The truth is not in you, and neither is the love of God.

The CAC affirms orthodox Christianity, affirms the Apostles Creed, the four Baptist freedoms, local church autonomy, etc.

Your vomit means absolutely nothing; it condemns you.

Now now, is that any way for an arch bishop to act?

And that's the rub: They can't stand it that I'm not a foaming-at-the-mouth fundamentalist. My apologies to the non-rabid fundamentalists; I have friends in that camp.

Yes, it is appropriate to the attack. See, I haven't made it far enough along the road to perfection that I can turn the other cheek as Jesus instructed, and I have to ask Him forgiveness and mercy for that. But when attacked, I fight back. Maybe I can get beyond that one day and just wipe the vomit off.

Yes, it must be difficult when you vomit on yourself.

Prove from the stated beliefs that the CAC is a cult. You can't; you are a liar and slanderer.

No, it's vomit from others that's offensive. I can handle my own. :)
