Martin, I'm not going to argue with you. Neither am I going to remove the OP which was your original request. Readers of these threads can decide for themselves and form their own opinions as to the merit of any of the posts on this thread and the relevancy of any Scriptures posted. LE

 

Good decision, I think people will do exactly as you suggest.

 

The fact that the OP remains is a sad commentary on what the modern church is willing to tolerate. We should be the people of truth, not people of distortion and propaganda.

As for my reply, the evidence speaks for itself. I was responding to your statements.

 

You are absolutely correct. The OP shows how much some who will identify themselves as Christians have been seduced into behaving as the world behaves. The OP video is a deceitful, cynical, manipulative, highly rhetorical attempt to appeal the demons within us - the demons of xenophobia and the fear of all things different.

This kind of material must be clearly denounced by obedient Christians from all quarters.

 

Good idea. Anyone can get on here and flame and hurl insults and digs and holier than thou statements to the other members on here, but lets see some honest point-by-point critique of the video and an honest discussion if we are mature enough to handle it.

This is like asking me read the phone book. There is so much that could be said. Since I do not the time nor the video viewing capability where I am right now, you will have to give me some time.

For starters, though, I believe there is a frame showing Mr. Obama next to a camel. Do I really need to explain what is wrong with this? The juxtaposition of Mr. Obama with a camel is not intended to show that he is an animal lover, or that he has traveled widely.

It is intended to achieve one cynical goal and one only - to establish some kind of association between Mr. Obama and the shadowy desert-dwelling Islamist terrorist that has wrought such damage on the USA.

If there is real evidence that Mr. Obama has been involved in supporting Islamic terrorism then by all means produce it. But please do not show us Mr. Obama next to a camel. And by evidence, I do not means that Mr. Obama knew someone who knew someone whose third-cousin twice removed was seen in the presence of someone who knew someone who once travelled to Afghanistan.

 

Please - I did not grow up in Disneyland. And if you think that the person who put this video together simply intended to show that Mr. Obama has traveled to regions of the world where there are camels, well, "good luck with that" as the kids say.

Why are there not slides showing Mr. Obama's travels to places like Norway and New Zealand. Why do we not see him next to a reindeer? or a sheep?

I think we all know the answer.
