    Barbara Walters is upset because President Bush sent her a Christmas card containing Scripture:

    Ba Ba Wa Wa wouldn't want a Christmas card from me. All of the Christmas cards I send out have Scripture. :jesus:

    I saw that on the view, which I rarely watch. She kept referring to the Scripture inclusion as "interesting" for a sitting president. Who'd have thunk it that we would include Scripture on the day we celebrate Christ's birth....

    I can hardly wait for her to tell me who is "most interesting" for next year!

    Doesn't even the President of the United States have a right to send out what Christmas cards he wants? If these cards were from the United States government, I might understand the argument (but then again, Christmas is about the birth of Christ - and were do we find this information? Right - the Bible) but it's from President Bush and his wife. A muslim could send out a card with part of the koran in it and I wouldn't be offended. A Christmas card is PERSONAL!!

    I loved the personal invitation to send her Scripture filled Christmas cards at the end (appropriate for the season ;) ).

    The president has the right to hold to any religion he wishes, as he is an American Citizen. Personally, he can send any card he likes to anyone. A picture of the whitehouse on the front is a nice touch

    It's sad when someone cares enough to send another a Christmas card and all they get back is complaints on national television. I smell a spoiled brat.

    She is a typical liberal, get upset over anything that appears to glorify Christ...but if it was from the Koran or something written by the church of Scientolgy, they would have gotten a free pass.

    President Bush is a Christian...why WOULDN'T he send a Christmas card with Scripture on it???

    I guess we are supposed to expect the lost to act like the lost, but we do not like it when Christians act like Christians???

    Hogwash!

    I make my own Christmas cards and BW will be receiving hers in the next few days with Scriptures all over it. :laugh:

    It's not what she thinks...it's what she speaks over the airwaves.
