The BaptistBoard.com just passed the 5 million mark as counted by our counter at the bottom of the page.

    Soli Deo Gloria!

It should be pointed out that in the past 44 hours the counter has gone to 5,026,733. This shows just how widely read this site is. We, the posting members, have a great resposibility to our Savior to show the world a reflection of the Christian Body. This site is truly a city on a hill.

This is a wonderful thing, but at the same time a very scary thing for the people that post and the board. Yes there is a great resposiblilty here.

Because each person that post here, has now taken on some of the responsibility of a pastor in one form or another. And the Lord will hold each and every one of us to every word that we type, that will been seen by all these people.

geesh people, cant you all just enjoy something? its a huge job to maintain a site like this, just rejoice in the amount of people that come here and interested in the things of God, encourage the webservant and thank God for the work He is doing here!

Maybe we should just sit back and read instead of participate? ;)

    Linda,

Yes, it may be a huge job for to maintain this site, but that was a decission that these poeple made when they set it up. And now that it is a very popular site, it is the responsibility of these same poeple to make sure proper stadards and doctrines are properly debated, & discussed.

Like for instance Coke drinkers VS the evil Pepsi drinkers, and those that want to be annointed in RC Cola. :D
