If you use firefox as a browser, click on the extensions button in the tools menu and than at the bottom select "get more extensions" You will be taken to mozilla.org and look for an extension called BBcode, it will put some helpful tool buttons in the right click menu for text editing on the BB, including quoting, bold, italics, etc.

    Superdave,

Hey, thanks! No more having to to hit "Full Reply Form" and wait for it to load. Way cool!

If you hear of any other good ones, post 'em. I have never heard of most of them that were there, or what they do.

    In Christ,
    Trotter

This particular find is simply a manifestation of my intense hatred for software by Microsoft. The features of Firefox make IE look about 5 years out of date.

Glad I could share a great discovery with y'all

Another great one is called proxy switcher. I use a VPN for work, so I am constantly going back and forth between a secure and regular connection. If you need to change your proxy settings regularly, on a laptop for instance, proxy switcher shows at the top what proxy you are configured to use, and also allows you to change it without having to wade through all the configuration screens. It also allows you to set up anonomous proxy settings for security if you need that functionality as well.

Probably my favorite is the tab browsing extension.
It took sometime to get used to it but now I use it a lot. Firefox is by far the best browser I've found.

Dave, the last time I tried to mess with mozilla.org it took over my computer and wouldn't let it go. I had to delete everything from there in order to get back the control.... :(
