Purposed ignorance as a result of an accelerated arrogance complex.

Now that a few of our troublemakers (Mr. M & Cutter) have received a free vacation, I have a strong suspicion that the "kind quotient" will go up a great deal.

Thanks for keepin this place sane, mod-meisters.

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” - John 13v35

What kind of evidence are we giving those around us?

I'm quite frankly surprised by this one. I'm not usually this bold, but I'm surprised enough to speak out.

The Golden Rule still applies, no matter how old you are. Some of these threads get so ugly, its better not to get in the middle of them. I just wish they'd lock them closed sooner, before they get so hateful. And it's possible to get your point across without getting sarcastic or caustic.

    love,

    Sopranette

Roger, this is a most overlooked verse in our day.
It is one that we all should bear in mind.

    An excellent reminder.

I'm glad that our mods' recent pay raise has seen them through this contentious little stretch on the BB.

OK. I can see how this could lead to someone being unkind. But unkind is unkind, whether it is a single rash comment or being unkind out of arrogance.

The trouble with those rash comments is that they can't be taken back and they are out there for all the world to see.

I don't mean to sound judgmental. The Lord has been dealing with me lately about being more kind in all my relationships. I tend to be sarcastic.
