    I remember as a kid in school,
    How being used was not considered cool.
    Let me tell you how all that has changed,
    How what's important has been rearranged.

    Lord use me every day as Your tool,
    Help me yield every part to Your rule.
    If I do it on my own I will fail,
    My efforts are so feeble and frail.

    But if I yield to Your control,
    And make pleasing You my goal,
    If I let you be Lord of my life,
    And trust You in calm and strife,

    Then I can be happy being used,
    Being Your tool is not to be refused.
    Take me and use me every day,
    In everything I do or say.

    Miss Sue, there are sooooo many days I don't even feel worthy to be the Lords, much less for Him to use me! But I'm learning. I'm finaly learning what some have been saying to me for almost four years. That my past will all it's awfullness has been forgiven, and I must forgive myself, that no matter what I've done, my Lord is still willing to forgive me, and restore me, and no matter what anyone in this world says to me, to remind me of my failures, and my past, that I can point them to the cross, and say, "If you'd like to take that up, look on Calvary. You'll find all you've spoke of there, but by His blood, I am FREE! I don't have to look down on myself because of what others have said. WOrds hurt, thats true. I'm not pretty, not that smart, not graceful, and so much more, but GOd said He wanted me! And folks say as they wish, but it won't matter, because to God, I'm so precious He died for me! [​IMG] [​IMG]
    No I'm not WORTHY to be used of Him, but no one is. No one is any better than me, nor me than them. So if God needs something of me, here I am, and I'm ready and willing, for with His strength I can do anything!
    Sue, the poems you've shared here have been a blessing, especialy today, and I want to thank you. As I said, slowly, oh slowly I am learning! And I sure am glad of it!

    Goodness, Miss Abby, I'm so glad God doesn't judge us by how physically gorgeous we are, or what our IQ is... When my picture finally starts appearing on my posts, you'll see that I'm not that attractive either. For those of us covered by His Son's blood, He sees Jesus when He looks at us... Thank God for forgiveness, and just imagine the day when we'll be perfect! I can't wait!
