Benjamin Baruch - Author of "The Day of the LORD is at Hand" claims he is not a prophet, but insists that he hears the audible voice of God - read these EXACT quotes of (Ben and God speaking) taken from the book...

*****The Benjamin Baruch ministries claim to have witness JANET RENO on LARRY KING LIVE give her definition of what a CULT is. Upon investigation, this supposed interview with Reno NEVER HAPPENED and has been documented as a HOAX and URBAN LEGEND - Even the 700 Club aired a TV show about this RENO URBAN LEGEND being just that - AN URBAN LEGEND.

Yet, the the prophet Benjamin Baruch claims he witnessed this, yet out of MILLIONS of viewers, no one else has stepped forward.

What more evidence is needed to expose a false prophet? Or can a prophet make these false allegations and still be a TRUE MESSENGER?

After looking into the laws a bit more closely I still do believe that the articles did not violate any copyright laws. However, the author did state that he does not wish any portion of what he said to be repeated on this forum, so to be on the safe side it has been edited.
I do find it rather telling that the words of a self-proclaimed prophet would be made copyright.

No, this is not a true prophet. He's either a phony or deluded. The fact he makes such a self-serving statement -- that "the highest prophetic office is held by those who can hear the Lord's voice directly, and who have been chosen to speak to the Lord face to face," shows him for what he is: a self-serving false prophet.

We have the Bible, we don't need prophets who hear the voice of God, especially someone like this. There are loads of people like this today - so this kind of behavior, sadly, does not surprise me at all.

B. Baruch prophecies:
This is a strange way to interpret the coming of the Messiah! He's not really coming yet, just coming "in the mininstry of the annointed messengers of God," before March, 2006, and I betcha that Baruch is one of those "anointed messengers." So here he is making a prophecy that interpreted by him will justify himself as a prophet That's not even very clever. I hope people see through this nonsense.

I've never heard of him - but from the posts I just read - I don't want to hear of him.

The voice of the Lord that believers hear - is that still small voice - as the Holy Spirit speaks to us through the written Word of God - the Bible.

Everything else can probably be chalked off to indigestion!

***Original post has been edited and I take full responsibility for any direct quotes as privileged under the FAIR USE laws - TITLE 17 > CHAPTER 1 > Sec. 107.

This post is for the reader to come to their OWN conclusions on what to believe.

Some of Baruch’s conversations have consisted of God yelling at him, arguing, asking Baruch for favors, and even getting Baruch into a “mess”… God has also helped Baruch with the stock market - For direct quotes taken from the book (The day of the Lord is at Hand), visit http://home.austin.rr.com/ozarkbarbie/

*****The Benjamin Baruch ministries claim to have witnessed JANET RENO on LARRY KING LIVE give her definition of what a CULT is.

Reno supposedly said:
“A cultist is one who has a strong belief in the bible and the second coming of Christ; who frequently attends bible study; who has a high level of financial giving to a Christian cause; who home schools his children; who has accumulated survival foods; who has a strong belief in the 2nd amendment and … a strong distrust of big government.”

****Upon investigation, this supposed interview with Reno NEVER HAPPENED and has been documented as a HOAX and URBAN LEGEND - Even the 700 Club aired a TV show about this RENO URBAN LEGEND being just that - AN URBAN LEGEND.

***Yet, Baruch still claims he witnessed this on LIVE TV --- YET out of MILLIONS of viewers, no one else has stepped forward. Baruch claims that the government had conspired and had ERASED all evidence. Did the government erase our minds as well?

The guy was interviewed on Coast2Coast with Art Bell. Doesn't that really just say it all? This radio show is generally aired at about 1-2 in the morning and is full of Kooks and Conspiracy Theorists who are in serious need of round the clock therapy and supervision... [IMG]
