    Thanks for that, Agedman.
The author is certainly an interesting chap. I will bear the commentary in mind.
My favourite commentary on Mark at present is the old one by J. C. Ryle. Lots of good stuff in there!

I've been told that the late radio preacher J. Vernon McGee once wrote a commentary on Mark, but so far I've never found a source that has his commentary on Mark readily available any more.

Does anybody know where I might find & purchase this commentary.

Occasionally I listen to the reruns radio commentaries that he once delivered but none of his radio commentaries seem to identify the date and/or venue of any of his radio commentaries.

Do any of you BB folks know where I can access a hard copy of his commentary on Mark?

I really like William Hendriksen on Mark. In fact, it is a very good set with Simon Kistemaker finishing the NT set after Hendriksens death

J.Vernon McGee's commentaries, based on his Thru the Bible Radio ministry, are readily available in any decent Bible Book Store. Yesterday I saw his commentary on Mark in the Life Way Store in Mobile, AL.

Yep! Hendricksen is very reliable. I have the whole NTC set and find it excellent.
