Best Explanation for Obama's rise

    While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher,

    whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle,

    the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.

    Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our
    President.

    The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Obama is a ' Post turtle'."



    Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him, "What's a '
    Post turtle'?"

    The old rancher said,

    "When you 're driving down a country road and you come across a fence
    post with a turtle balanced on top,

    thats a " Post turtle."



    The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued
    to explain.

    "You know he didn 't get up there by himself, he doesn 't belong up
    there,

    he doesn't know what to do while he is up there,

    and you just wonder ...... what kind of a dummy put him up
    there in the first place."

    I view Obama's rise to be similiar in some ways to that of Jimmy Carter. People were disenfranchised with the status quo and were looking for change. Out of the south came a man with a huge grin, southern charm, and an infectious personality. His credentials were not thoroughly checked and he received a pass just because he was different and a change from the past administration. I know firsthand and maybe some have studied history to understand how disastrous his presidency was. His inexperienced domestic policy and his naivety in foreign policy exposed him to be a weak and a mistake in the position he was elected to. Something I believe will happen with Obama if he is elected.
