Best Reasons to go to Seminary

    So Logos Bible Software (which is in league with Knox Theological Seminary) suggested three reasons why one should go to seminary. What would you add to that (or take from that) if you were asked to counsel a young man who aspired to pulpit ministry?

    The obvious would be prayer in my mind. Yes, God prepares us but not necessarily via seminary in particular.

    Number three should be used sparingly and only with lots of prayer, again in my mind.
