A sort of "which one doesn't belong".

I picked one of your comparisons at random, quesion #9, Gal 2:20. You said the KJV has "I live" while others have "I no longer live". The KJV actually has "I live; yet not I". Thus yes, they are all the same meaning, and thus I do not trust any other of your questions enough to answer the loaded poll.

Amen, Brother Natters -- Preach it! [IMG]

I hereby join the boycott of this poll.
Nearly all questions need a few outs like:
"none of the above".

Question 13 of 14: Which one is different? ---- Pro. 25:23
Choose 1
KJB-- "The north wind driveth away rain"

NIV-- "as a north wind brings rain"

NASV-- "The north wind brings forth rain"

ESV-- "The north wind brings forth rain"

HCSV-- "The north wind produces rain"

This question does not properly quote
the given verse from the KJB.
This makes the answer come out different.
THe answer is: none of them are different.

Prouerbes XXV.23 (KJV1611):
||;The North winde driueth
away raine : so doeth an angrie
countenance a backbiting tongue.

Sidenote: ||Or, the Northwinde bringeth
foorth raine
...

Boycott because of the intentional misrepresentation of the MV's. Only partial passages given with a bias present towards one version. Hypocritical at best.

Amen, natters. This is a typical KJVO misrepresentation of the MV's. This is the type of kjVERSION ONLY tactic that gives even the KJV without the "O" users a bad name.

Thanks Granny, I'm glad there are still a few Bible believers out there.

Would you care to prove that those who use MV's dont' love or believe the Bible citizen? Implying someone doesn't believe the Bible because they don't use your chosen translation is foolish.

Unfortunately they have to contend with the KJV-onlyists usurping the name for themselves, illegitimately.

CitizenofHeaven,

I do not normally answer polls, but since so many were opposed to it, I thought I might just take a look at it. I did participate in it, and you have done a great job, with only a few examples, to show how the scriptures have been changed in truth in the mv's.

I can see clearly why none of them wanted to take it now. It exposes this truth.

love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,

No, that's not the reason. [IMG]

It is funny or rather ironic, that you reason away everything, and then use this very word to say that that is not the "REASON".

The reason you gave is not the reason that I did not answer the poll. Don't blame me for your own inaccuracies.

We should "reason". God didn't give us our brains as a joke, something to be discarded.

Come now, and let us reason together.

Natters, I read your reason, and I am well aware of it. You reasoned it away when you came to Gal. in the poll. Paul did not say, I no longer live. Paul said I live, yet not I. These two do NOT SAY THE SAME THING.

WE are NEVER to reason the TRUTH in the scriptures. We are to BELIEVE the scriptures without doubt, otherwise it is not BELIEF, but contrary to it. You are trying to justify alterations of God's words of truth, to which SHOULD NEVER BE REASONED.

love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,

michelle said "Natters, I read your reason, and I am well aware of it."

Then why did you say my reason for not participating in the poll was "It exposes this truth" when in fact the reason was "I do not trust any other of your questions enough"?

michelle said "Paul did not say, I no longer live. Paul said I live, yet not I. These two do NOT SAY THE SAME THING."

Sure they do - if I read the entire verses from which the snippets were taken, I see the same meaning in all of them.

michelle said "WE are NEVER to reason the TRUTH in the scriptures. We are to BELIEVE the scriptures without doubt, otherwise it is not BELIEF, but contrary to it."

Baloney. I believe things because I have reason to. 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

michelle said "You are trying to justify alterations of God's words of truth"

No I'm not. False witness.

The 100 percentile proves the other versions to be false, also I had to vote that the Bible says the same thing, <attack on Bible snipped>
