Biblical Teaching on "Vision"

    hey Brothers and Sisters,

    Maybe this belongs in the General Discussion area, but I thought it to be appropriate hear because I wanted clear, straight-forward, biblical answers. This may not be a normal theological question, but here goes.

    Vision is something that many speak of, but from scripture I see that the word is not used in the way we use it. Ananias had a vision of Christ, Paul had a vision, but I would like some thoughts on vision as in "The vision of our church is......". Please understand that I know how we use this particular term, but in light of how it is used in scripture I believe that it is different.

    With this said:

    What is vision?
    What is your God-given vision for ministry?
