There is no reason to block that topic that was started about a corrupt ministry. There were no names being used and no ministry was named and nothing more than opinion was asked for.

It is wrong and very sad that one person comes on and calls the other one a liar and you lock the topic out. You have declared David guilty and a liar because someone else said he was not telling the truth. If your going to lock out topics you better start locking them all out because there is opposition in 90% of these topics.

That is sad and pathetic that you blocked that topic. Just shut down the Baptist Board now because there will be lot more people calling each other liars and making personal attacks.

There is a method fo dealing with disagreements with a moderating decision. It is not to make your complaints public. Please PM the moderator of the thread who closed it instead.

    1. In that thread there was no accountability. With the lack of names, there was no substantiation of the issues at hand. It was merely anonymous rumormongering.

    2. In that thread, there was no help. No one on the Baptist Board is in any position to contribute to a solution, especially given the lack of names. It may be a board that we support, but I don't know. Therefore, I am not in any position to help, and neither is anyone else here.

    3. That thread was essentially gossip. There was no reason for it to be started. When you have issues with people, you deal with it with people. A missionary under such circumstances should get his sending church involved and other supporting churches. He should not make it public on this forum. THat is unethical, IMO.

I left the names out for legal reasons, had I put the names of the guilty in you would have blocked the thread because it presented a legal threat to BB.

You blocked the thread because like so many Christians today you are quick to turn a blind eye to corruption in ministry. It better to leave the guilty to continue until they face the Lord.

As Christians we are called to remain blameless. And I have, I left the names out and simply asked for opinions as to what others thought I should do and opinions as to what has happened.

If you want substantiation I will be happy to post you a list of the legal violations Im talking about and the evidence to support my claim. As for the Brother(???) who said I was lying, and that I had repeatedly turned down the ministries attempts to settle the matter, well let me just say, I can substantiate my claim and the organization in question has made no offeres of settlement, and everytime we have asked them to sit down and discuss the matter they have refused. You were wrong to lock the thread and you should reopen it so people that have an opinion can share it with others

    David,

As I said, there was no accountability. You could be completely making this up and we would have no way to know. Secondly, there is no help here. Not a person who reads it here can help you. You need to get with your supporting pastors and deal with it. At least one person here says you are wrong. Why shouldn't we believe him? He has as much credibility here as you do.

It has nothing to do with turning a blind eye to corruption. There has been no corruption proven. We have only the word of a faceless name, thoussands of miles away who we do not know and who seems very bitter. We are blinded by you by not knowing who it is. We couldn't do anything if we wanted to.

You asked for opinions and then rejected those who didn't agree with you. Sounds like you were approval fishing. That's not wise. But in any case, this is not the place to deal with it.

Is there a need for such an accusatory spirit? Why would you question a moderator's motivation so?

I question the moderators motivation because shuting down the thread and actually removing it was done without just cause There can be no legal issues if the thread does not call names. One individual chose to call me a liar, thats his perogative, Like I have said privately, I will be happy to provide a list of legal violations by the organization and the evidence to back it up, if you need validation of my claims.

But then that would require that I name names which I chose not to do because of the legal implications. The thread simply asked a series of questions and asked peoles opinions about how they felt I should handle it. The moderators were to quick to judge and by pulling the thread have called me a liar in support of the individual who suggested that my calims were fabricated.

Yet you accused a moderator of turning a blind eye to corruption in the ministry. You do not know that to be the case. Regardless of the original post, that was a false accusation.

No one called you a liar, the comment was made that it was being closed to review its suitability for this forum. They did not in any regard call you a liar by closing the thread.

    Brother Larry

Yes I am thousands of miles away, and yes after four years of fighting this battle I am a little peaved. In order to prove the accusation I will need your permission to post the evidence and name names, is that OK? If so I will be happy to start a new thread in the next 24 hours.

I would also like to ad that I never said anything in the thread one way or the other to those who disagreed with me, many in the thread disagreed with each other I simply stated thoughts regarding what had been said, is that wrong to diagree with those who disagree with you? Let me know.

If you went through what Ive been through and continue to go through you might feel a little bitterness as well, you might even feel hurt that your own brothers in Christ would stoop so low as to toss you out with the trash because you became ill and you might become a cost liability to the ministry and so they exuse themselves form the responsibility of honoring the insurance they sold you and in fact insisted you buy.

Regardless of whether you allow the thread to continue is irrelavant because I will stay the course and fight the fight because if I dont than this organization will continue on a path of corruption and somewhere down the line they will do this to another missionary.

Bitter? My Brother every Bible believing Christian should be outraged that a ministry would do this to any missionary. And they should be outraged that the moderators wont even allow people to discuss the issues ina generic forum that doesnt call names.

I was the one who reported the thread and made a suggestion to the moderators of this forum that perhaps the thread needed review by the moderators and administrators of this board. There was no personal intent involved towards any member and it was not done to imply anyone is lying or to turn a blind eye to any corruption in any ministry. It was merely a suitability issue.

No one called me a liar? Im confused here, didnt Larry say that my post had no validity? Originally It was posted by blackbird the thread was being reviewed for legal issues.

Larry stated that the Baptist Board was in no position to help, I never asked for help, I asked for generic opinions about issues and things were going well until the missionary to mexico called me a liar if the moderators were going to chastise someone, why didnt they chastise the man for calling me a liar? As I have stated all along I can substantiate my claims, can he substantiate his?

Larry accused me of being unethical because I asked generic questions, he accused me of gossip. In order to gossip you need to name names, you need to make an accusation against someone. The thread was generic, this is a forum where people discuss varrious topics, some controversial and others not. Will you ban anything that raises controvery? If so might I suggest that you ban any discussion of versions of the Bible, because that is a very heated topic among Baptist everywhere. I asked for generic opinions regarding a situation and I would challenge anyone to point out how anything said was gossip. Who was accused? who was defamed? I dont now maybe the moderators are involved with the organization in question.

Now you imply that the moderators are in cahoots with this organisation. This is indeed sad.

This quote by Pastor Larry in the original thread hardly constitutes calling you a liar.

You have in no way been chastised by any moderator, yet you continue to throw out charges and accusations against the moderators here.

You are hurting your credibility in so doing.

Bro. David, since you got here on the BB in your 13 posts heretofore you have contributed to only one subject and that is to present a case [of which: 1) we can not confirm; 2) we cannot help; 3) and if points 1 & 2 are true then why bother?].

Although, if your unconfirmed story is true, then we do emphasize with you, and we pray that the Lord show you the right course of action. But you certainly cannot expect more of this discussion forum than that - for the reasons already voiced by other moderators.

So, without further ado, and with your kind permission, I am closing this thread, for it has no place in this or in any other forums.

We have heard your plea, we make it a matter of prayer, but outside of that we cannot help or permit to give you opportunity to speak ill of an organization which does not equally represent itself on this board. Hope you understand. [IMG]

P.S. Please do not open or contribute to any other threads, which addresses the same subject, for they will be deleted. We believe that the subject has been already exhausted beyond the gray line. Thank you!
